Well at least Locke was asking questions we really wanted the answer to.
We watched LOST last night with Mr and Mrs. Grant, and I couldn't help but think that this episode was going to make a whole lot of sense later. Not so much last night though. We were introduced to four new characters: Dan, Miles, Charlotte, and Frank.
It should be interesting to see how fans respond to these characters. LOST has been pretty hit or miss when it comes to new faces. Ben and Juliet were obvious hits. The tail section and Niki/Paulo didn't go to well.
There is a theory out there that the new girl has been to the island before. I like it because it involves one of my favorite books. In Prince Caspian, the first chapter is called The Island. The Pevensie kids land on a strange island with old artifacts and creatures. The first thing they do when they get there is play in the water. Well, people seem to be drawing parallels to the kids playing and Charlotte playing and splashing in the water when she fell. I know it might seem like a stretch, but we come to find out that her full name is Charlotte Staples Lewis. Which is ridiculously close to Clive Staples Lewis. Cue dramatic music......
Who is Ben's man on the boat?
Where is WAAAAAAALLLLTTTT?!!?!!
How did they find the wreckage of the plane?
I'll hang up an listen........

Ben's man on the boat is Michael.
I know I emailed this, but for the benefit of others-
Dan is named after Michael Faraday, the physicist who discovered electromagnetism.
In addition to the Narnia connection, there are parallels to the comic Fantastic Four with the 4 new guys- male scientist, female scientist, pilot, younger guy with a temper.
i am soaking it all in.
haha okay. this has nothing to do with the current post..but the one below...that is hilarious. Ben and Thom Yorke are twins...fraternal maybe? i don't know.
that's funny.
will you be my constant?
I know that LOST isn't running right now... but that doesn't mean you can stop writing altogether.
Love,
John Raines!!!
(who punctuates their own name?
I do.)
